About us

Claire and Bella

We moved to Sunset Farm in Fosdyke, near Boston in Lincolnshire, in the summer of 2007 with our horses. Our intention was to turn the farm into a base where we could keep our horses at home and from where Claire could continue her passion for teaching using classical riding principles.

Claire has owned, competed and worked with horses for over 25 years. She also has a BSc in Equine Science. Claire teaches according to classical riding principles and is a winner of the A.B.R.S. Jeffress Scholarship, which has enabled her to train with some of the UK's top clasical riders/trainers, including John Lassetter and Tina Layton BHSI. She is a member of the Classical Riding Club (CRC) and the Training the Teachers of Tomorrow Trust (TTT). She also has experience of RDA teaching and holds her RDA Group Instructor's Badge.

Claire is also a fully qualified Neuro-linguistic Programming Practitioner and a Reiki Practitioner for horses and riders.

Mike grew up on a farm in Gloucestershire. Since 1982 he has worked in the IT industry, specialising in database design, data analysis and technical training/documentation. He has been working with horses for over 15 years and rides his cob mare, Tammy, as often as time allows.
